Key Responsibilities

  • •Support hydrogeologists and project managers delivering groundwater investigations, environmental assessments, and hydrogeological studies across Alberta and Northern Canada.
  • •Assist with field programs including drilling oversight, borehole logging, monitoring and pumping well installation, aquifer testing, and groundwater sampling.
  • •Analyze and organize field data to support technical interpretations, reporting, and hydrogeological assessments.
  • •Contribute to environmental impact assessments, mine dewatering studies, baseline groundwater programs, and groundwater supply projects.
  • •Champion a strong safety culture and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions for clients.

Salary: CAD 60,100 - 79,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Eligibility to obtain registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) in Alberta (or equivalent Canadian jurisdiction).
  • •0 to 4 years of relevant hydrogeology, environmental consulting, mining, oil and gas, or related experience.
  • •Understanding of physical hydrogeology principles through coursework, research/thesis, or field experience.
  • •Ability to work safely and travel to remote project sites, including rotations away from home for up to two to three weeks and occasional day or night shifts.
