Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the mine waste team on civil and geotechnical projects for mining clients, including TSFs, heap leach pads, and waste rock facilities.
  • •Conduct geotechnical field investigations and construction monitoring, and perform site and material characterization.
  • •Support facility design and engineering analyses including grading, storage capacity, slope stability, seepage, consolidation, liner system, and settlement.
  • •Prepare portions of technical reports documenting field/laboratory investigations, engineering analyses, and facility designs.
  • •Assist with project design packages (drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates) and perform domestic and international field assignments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (or equivalent).
