Key Responsibilities

  • •Support strategic decision-making across VIVO by providing financial insight, challenge, and guidance to operational leaders.
  • •Build relationships with Operational Directors, budget holders, and senior stakeholders to embed finance in decision-making and improve commercial outcomes.
  • •Own a portfolio of management accounts, ensuring accurate monthly reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
  • •Lead annual budgeting and regular forecasting, providing financial insight for short- and long-term planning.
  • •Analyze operational and commercial performance using financial data and KPIs to identify trends, improve profitability, strengthen financial controls, and support billing and cash collection.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least five years’ post-qualified experience in commercial finance or business partnering.
  • •Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience working under IFRS.
  • •Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis, including identifying risks and challenging assumptions.
  • •Essential business partnering experience; experience in defence, facilities management, asset management, or similarly complex operational environments is highly advantageous.
  • •Advanced user of Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems beneficial, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
