Key Responsibilities

  • •Play an important role in a multi-skilled aquatic ecology team supporting AECOM nationwide offices and laboratories.
  • •Support the Team Leader with business development in Scotland.
  • •Provide technical leadership in the UK for aquatic ecology within your expertise.
  • •Provide aquatic ecology input into EIA, planning, mitigation, and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • •Mentor and line manage aquatic ecology team members, author and review technical reports, and develop data analysis and processing.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience of ecological impact assessment (EcIA/EIA).
  • •Experience of WFD compliance assessment.
  • •Knowledge of industry-standard monitoring techniques and analyses for aquatic ecology, including consenting/permitting requirements.
  • •Understanding of the Water Framework Directive and related aquatic environment legislation and its implementation.
  • •Full UK driving licence.
