Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading goods/materials using specialized equipment; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and deliver documentation after routes; facilitate routine service checks and report malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state and vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing and complete a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
  • •Must be able to sit in a trailer cab for long periods and lift/move up to 40 pounds.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
