Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and advise on product development and business initiatives to ensure privacy legal compliance, including privacy-by-design and security-by-design.
  • •Negotiate, draft, and review privacy-related contracts (e.g., DPAs, privacy/security addendums, vendor agreements, AdTech contracts).
  • •Ensure compliance with U.S. privacy laws, digital/AdTech regulations, and global privacy frameworks; monitor and respond to regulatory developments and enforcement actions.
  • •Advise on AI-related privacy and broader AI legal issues, including legal support for deployment of AI use cases, tools, and systems.
  • •Lead and support the Global Privacy Office (e.g., PIAs/DPIAs, data mapping/ROPA) and coordinate privacy incident responses, including potential regulatory notifications and remediation.

Salary: USD 174,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
  • •10+ years of total relevant work experience.
  • •Deep knowledge of U.S. privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, and other state laws) and familiarity with global privacy frameworks (GDPR, Singapore PDPA, Hong Kong PDPO, Japan APPI, and Australia Privacy Act 1988 including APPs).
  • •Ability to draft and negotiate complex data or privacy-related contracts and technology contracts.
  • •Proven ability to independently manage multiple complex projects and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice across global stakeholders.
