Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the academy in achieving its vision and improvement targets as set out in the improvement plan and self-evaluation form.
  • •Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, equal opportunities regulations, and academy policies for safe working practice.
  • •Teach allocated students by planning, delivering, and assessing lessons to achieve outstanding learning progression.
  • •Engage in annual training linked to child protection, safeguarding, health and safety, and other required training.
  • •Follow performance management expectations, including setting challenging annual targets and serving as a performance management reviewer if directed by the Principal.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelor degree and PGCE Education certification.
  • •6+ years of teaching Art.
  • •Teaching experience at UK secondary level is essential.
  • •Strong experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
  • •Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
