Job Summary

Lead indirect tax reporting for WPP agencies served by the North American Shared Services Center, partnering with business units to compile data for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings and local tax requirements. Coordinate sales & use and B&O tax entries, complete filings and payments, and streamline compliance processes using the Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Tax Engine. Communicate recommendations to stakeholders, perform tax research (e.g., SaaS vendor implications), and support internal controls and governance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with the offshore team to ensure timely and complete indirect tax reporting, including local sales and use tax requirements.
•Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax entries for sales & use tax, B&O tax, and property tax entries.
•Coordinate and complete tax filings and submit required payments in line with local tax timelines.
•Streamline and optimize tax accounting and compliance processes using Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Tax Engine.
•Lead tax planning and technology projects (where applicable) and provide timely advice to Finance, IT, and senior management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 60 - 80

Key Requirements

•3+ years of public accounting experience working with indirect/sales and use tax.
•Experience implementing and/or utilizing a tax engine (preferably Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE).
•Excellent knowledge of accounting to record journal entries related to indirect tax filings and accruals.
•Strong experience with local sales and use tax filings.
•Excellent knowledge of tax compliance.
