Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Professional Services engagements including installation, migration, training, and advisory across GitLab capabilities.
  • •Plan and execute deployments from single-node Omnibus installs to large reference architectures using IaC and configuration as code.
  • •Lead migrations from multiple source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, enabling secure and reliable workflows.
  • •Partner with Engagement Managers and Project Managers to improve delivery consistency and refine processes.
  • •Serve as a trusted technical advisor, interface with product/engineering to unblock customer outcomes, and mentor other Professional Services Engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code or configuration as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Chef, or Kubernetes.
  • •Experience with two or more cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
  • •Experience deploying or configuring GitLab, with solid understanding of Git and source control workflows.
  • •Strong grounding in Security and AI technologies.
  • •Experience delivering customer-facing Professional Services engagements (installation, migration, training, and advisory) and independently managing complex projects.
