Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct personnel management of compounding technicians, including PTO requests, performance management, time management, and annual reviews.
  • •Train new compounding technicians on equipment and compounding-suite processes, and ensure timely competency assessments.
  • •Serve as subject-matter expert for all compounding-suite equipment and work with suppliers to optimize equipment output.
  • •Partner with Quality Operations and the Pharmacist in Charge to ensure compound quality and safety in the compounding suites.
  • •Organize and maintain compounding-suite support documentation (including environmental controls, scale calibrations, and hood certifications) and ensure regulatory compliance and SOP completion.

  • •Must be familiar with USP chapters 795 and 800.
  • •Experience working in a compounding pharmacy is required.
  • •Familiarity with Computer Rx pharmacy software.
