Job Summary

Lead the Solutions Engineering team for Africa, partnering closely with Sales to help customers solve complex application delivery and security challenges. Set team direction and objectives, coach and develop Solutions Engineers, and manage day-to-day activities including performance reviews and workload planning. Build an effective organization through knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration, support strategic customer opportunities, and provide technical and commercial guidance while contributing to business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop the Africa Solutions Engineering team through feedback, mentoring, and career development.
•Manage day-to-day team activities including performance reviews, development plans, time-off approvals, and workload planning.
•Recruit, interview, and onboard new Solutions Engineers in partnership with Human Resources.
•Ensure the team delivers an excellent customer experience throughout the sales cycle and positions F5 solutions to address customer technical and business requirements.
•Identify market trends and provide technical and commercial guidance to support strategic sales opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
•Experience leading and developing technical pre-sales or Solutions Engineering teams.
•Strong understanding of networking technologies, application delivery, and cybersecurity.
•Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop technical professionals.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts to a range of audiences.
