Job Summary

Oversee procurement activities for aircraft cabin and in-flight-entertainment spares, tools, consumables, and retrofit/mod materials needed to support Emirates Engineering. You’ll source and purchase assigned items, manage vendor performance and KPI reporting, coordinate price and lead-time reviews, resolve invoice and stores discrepancies, and prepare RFQs and service orders. Maintain stakeholder and vendor relationships to support on-time delivery, cost optimization, and reliable aircraft dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

•Support timely sourcing, purchasing, and borrowing of assigned items (including BFE and retrofit/mod items) in line with procurement policies, EK Engineering procedures, and the Authority Manual.
•Track supply chain performance weekly/monthly/annually by measuring overdue orders, backlogs, vendor performance, and KPI results; escalate corrective actions for service delivery failures.
•Collaborate with the Contracts Management Unit (CMU) to review price and lead time, challenge vendor variances against contracts, and manage related vendor issues.
•Clear invoice and stores discrepancies by coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to avoid backlogs, quarantine stock build-up, and credit holds.
•Prepare and execute RFQs for limited parts/vendors, negotiate quote terms (price, availability/lead time, quality, INCOTERM, payment terms), and authorize or recommend purchase orders and service orders (RFS/service order, invoice payment coordination).

Key Requirements

•Relevant experience in Supply Chain (warehouse and logistics, repair management, material planning/support and inventory control, or technical purchasing).
•Preferably aircraft maintenance spares purchasing experience; airlines or MRO (Maintenance Repair Organization) experience will also be considered.
•Knowledge of purchasing and inventory systems, including models and principles of forecasting and material management.
•Familiarity with repair, warranty, stores, inventory, technical, production and quality interfaces.
•Familiarity with aircraft systems and maintenance philosophies, practices, policies and procedures.
