Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead geometric and detailed design of major highway infrastructure projects, including design optimization and value engineering studies.
  • •Review and approve highway design calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications; run design reviews, technical workshops, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • •Ensure compliance with RTA, Dubai Municipality, AASHTO, and international design standards, including temporary traffic management and construction staging proposals.
  • •Plan and manage assigned design packages by monitoring schedules, resources, and risks, and supporting commercial/programme reporting.
  • •Act as technical point of contact for clients and authorities, and mentor junior engineers through review and knowledge sharing while supporting quality and governance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • •8–12 years of highway design experience delivering major highway projects.
  • •Extensive experience with major highway infrastructure, including strong UAE experience; RTA infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
  • •Strong technical expertise in highway geometric design, junction/interchange design, corridor modelling, road safety engineering, and utility coordination.
  • •Proficiency with design and construction tools (e.g., Bentley OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD) and experience with BIM collaboration environments is highly desirable.
