Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead VAVE activities to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality, reliability, or performance
  • •Develop should-cost models and perform cost breakdowns for electro-mechanical components and assemblies, including materials, machining, fabrication, tooling, overhead, and logistics
  • •Conduct product tear-downs and reverse engineering studies to identify architecture, manufacturing processes, material selection, and cost drivers
  • •Validate supplier quotations using should-cost analysis and provide recommendations for supplier negotiations or further actions

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience
  • •Strong experience in VAVE, should costing, tear-down analysis, reverse engineering, and cost engineering for electro-mechanical products
  • •Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal, plastic injection molding, casting, forging, and assembly processes
