Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage cargo warehouse shift tasks within defined timeframes, including planning and oversight of key activities, routes, and products.
  • •Extend inbound quality by monitoring physical built validation and weight/volume to avoid stow loss, and optimize onward connections for on-time departure performance.
  • •Monitor red routes, space optimization, and cargo load planning actions such as cargo spot pre-carrying shipments and handling no shows/misconnections.
  • •Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for health, security, and safety, including safe handling of ULD and required PPE, plus Etihad safety/security/Dangerous Goods procedures.
  • •Provide on-job training and coaching to GHA staff, coordinate closely with service providers and support the Cargo Operations Center Duty Manager with departmental targets and KPI delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of cargo operations experience.
  • •Educated to at least high school level with acquired specialization in cargo handling operations.
  • •Successful completion of cargo and dangerous goods courses, plus courses in live animals, aircraft weight and balance, and general cargo procedures.
  • •Fully conversant with cargo handling processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance expectations.
