Job Summary

Oversee and enhance the Encompass mortgage origination system and other mortgage IT systems, ensuring efficient, optimal performance. Lead design, documentation, configuration, testing, deployment, and compliance-driven updates, including research on new Encompass versions and integrated applications. Partner with project managers, business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts; manage Encompass and third-party vendor relationships; and provide user training, documentation, and reporting for regulatory examinations.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the Encompass mortgage origination system to ensure efficient operations and optimal performance.
•Design, document, configure, test, and deploy approved system change requests and enhancements.
•Maintain compliance by tracking regulatory and industry changes impacting mortgage lending and ensuring Encompass configurations and processes stay compliant with laws and regulations.
•Serve as the primary liaison to the Encompass vendor and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements, including third-party mortgage IT integrations.
•Lead team operations and enable user adoption through training programs, technical documentation, help desk ticket processing, and reporting for regulatory examinations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (preferred) or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
•5+ years as an LOS Administrator or similar role in mortgage lending, with Encompass experience required.
•3+ years in management or similar leadership experience.
•Experience drafting requirements and working with application developers.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Visual Basic/VB.Net, plus functional understanding of SQL, XML, SOAP, and IIS web services.
