Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive end-to-end delivery for initiatives spanning vendor-led CAPEX projects, in-house product enhancements, support releases, and technical debt reduction.
  • •Serve as Scrum Master: schedule user stories into the sprint plan and facilitate agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
  • •Manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, removing impediments/blockers to ensure smooth delivery flow.
  • •Coach the team on Agile/Scrum practices and values; assess scrum maturity and promote empowerment and a sustainable pace aligned to quality management.
  • •Collaborate with Technical Product Owners to refine and maintain the product backlog, schedule and commit stories into sprints, and ensure acceptance criteria and Definition of Done are followed; maintain delivery tools (ScrumDesk, JIRA, etc.).

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours (or equivalent) in a subject related to Computer Science or similar.
  • •Certified Scrum Master with 3 years of practical application of Scrum Management, PMI ACP transition of existing SDCs are exempt.
  • •5 years of working in Information Technology in agile delivery within a small-medium technology change program.
  • •Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation.
  • •Well versed in tools for software delivery such as MS Office suite, JIRA, and Confluence.
