Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load and unload trailers.
  • •Verify product and paperwork accuracy using manifest checks and scanning, and store delivery ticket copies for tracking.
  • •Use a scanner and tablet with Tyson software to input temperature checks after verifying product temperatures before loading or placing in coolers.
  • •Communicate continuously via radio with yard drivers regarding trailer needs and operational requirements.
  • •Visually inspect trailers, pallets, plastic tops, and boxes for damage or quality issues; maintain a safe work environment and wash out trailers when necessary.
