Key Responsibilities

  • •Design scalable, secure, high-performing LAN/WAN/WLAN and cloud network solutions, including network architecture diagrams and documentation.
  • •Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and tools; lead installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
  • •Oversee network upgrades, migrations, expansions, and deployments while minimizing downtime; ensure monitoring of performance, uptime, and reliability.
  • •Troubleshoot complex network issues and outages, perform risk assessments and vulnerability analysis, and implement network security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, zero-trust).
  • •Mentor junior engineers and network admins; collaborate with IT, security, and application teams, create test plans, maintain documentation, and act as an escalation point for major incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of seven years of direct work experience in large-scale corporate or service-provider networking.
  • •In-depth knowledge of routing protocols.
  • •Hands-on experience with frame relay and service-provider MPLS-based networks (e.g., AT&T Private IP), Cisco IOS, Juniper JunOS, and IPsec/SSL VPNs.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft applications including Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • •Competence with network administration and testing tools such as Telnet, ping, traceroute, and NSLookup.
