Own the technical upgrade work for mission-critical radio communications projects built around the APCO Project 25 standard. Travel to customer sites is required.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee all technical aspects of assigned upgrade projects and associated system documentation.
•Upgrade radio network components including servers, networking, and RF devices, as well as support customer presentations.
•Provide hands-on experience with multi-vendor hardware and workstations/servers (e.g., Juniper/Aviat/Cisco/Nokia, HPE/DELL, HP Z2/ZBook).
•Apply deep knowledge of routing/switching protocols and security technologies including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS (RSVP-TE/LDP), and IPSec.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot complex networking issues using tools like Wireshark and automation workflows; configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls and remote access/file transfers.

Salary: CAD 70,000 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of networking experience.
•Knowledge of radio communication systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless or broadband/LTE.
•Working knowledge of IP networking and network design methodologies, including troubleshooting Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, and MPLS.
•Experience with servers and virtualization such as ESXi, KVM, Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows Group Policy.
•Must be able to obtain necessary security clearances required by government contract (Canadian citizenship typically required depending on clearance level).
