Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Design Manager in organizing and managing task assignments, planning manpower requirements, and coordinating in-house and outsourced resources.
  • •Provide cradle-to-grave analytical and design support from detailed design through development, validation, manufacturing, and operational service.
  • •Coach, train, and develop technical proficiency of design engineers and review/approve design documentation and analyses.
  • •Ensure outsourcing work is completed, reviewed, and approved with the appropriate design associate proficiency level.
  • •Support multidiscipline teams and collaborate to improve engineering standard work processes/methods, ensuring proper documentation and communication of results, status, and risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of relevant engineering experience OR an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • •5+ years of gas turbine experience.
  • •Prior experience in field and production support and part design and development.
