Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the corporate compliance subject matter expert for assigned lines of business and/or regulations.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of banking/consumer compliance laws and apply them to risk management strategies.
  • •Provide second-line of defense oversight and monitoring of processes and controls; identify improvements and facilitate necessary changes.
  • •Document testing results in concise management reports, escalate significant risks, and review policies and procedures for regulatory consistency.
  • •Educate and provide consultative advice on regulations, perform independent review and challenge of business activities, and support projects mitigating compliance risk.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree required; Juris Doctorate or CRCM preferred.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience as a financial services audit or compliance professional, bank regulator, or comparable legal experience.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of RESPA, TILA, FDCPA, FCRA, ECOA, FDPA, SCRA, HPA, UDAAP, and other consumer protection regulations (including state-specific requirements).
  • •Practical knowledge of internal controls, risk assessments, and compliance processes for implementing regulatory requirements.
  • •Established relationship management, strong communication skills, sound independent decision-making, solid research/problem-solving, and attention to detail.
