Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop or update national oral health policies/strategies and support multisectoral coordination for implementation.
  • •Review, analyze, and profile oral health surveillance data to identify gaps and improve oral health delivery services and policies.
  • •Integrate oral health into NCD prevention programmes, including shared-risk-factor approaches for tobacco control, alcohol harm reduction, and sugar reduction.
  • •Support integration of essential oral health prevention and basic management services into PHC and UHC benefit packages.
  • •Provide technical assistance to embed oral health within Healthy Settings initiatives and expand workforce capacity for essential oral health interventions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 350 - 499 daily

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in dentistry or a related field.
  • •At least five or more years of experience in clinical oral health.
  • •Experience working with ministries of health, WHO/UN agencies, regional organizations, and development partners.
  • •Knowledge of clinical oral health and public health interventions for resource-limited countries, particularly in the Pacific region.
  • •Fluency in English.
