Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and execute project controls strategy across cost, risk, and schedule management, including project budget approval processes.
  • •Lead risk workshops to identify risks, define likelihood/severity, and develop mitigation actions with owners.
  • •Develop reporting and manage project gateway/approval documentation, including establishing progress metrics and performance measurement.
  • •Develop work plans for the Project Execution Plan (PEP), oversee estimating and asset costing (total cost of ownership), and manage contingency and estimate evolution.
  • •Lead and motivate the project controls team, coordinate regular Monte Carlo analyses, review project plans/implementation strategies, and support review of construction progress, recovery plans, and claims resolution recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a construction-related field.
  • •12+ years of relevant project controls experience with portfolio controls.
  • •5+ years managing project control teams in a consulting environment.
  • •5+ years managing project controls teams in a regulatory/mission-critical environment.
  • •Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting.
