Phd student (d/f/m) in the field of Materials & Processes

Support the Materials and Processes department by developing multiscale simulation methods for cold spray processes to predict repair quality. Review and improve numerical methods for continuum-mechanical approaches, build and validate particle–substrate interaction models, and model damage and bonding mechanisms. Scale models to multi-particle cases, optionally couple CFD and solid mechanics, and correlate simulation results with experimental data. Publish and present findings through reports and conferences.
