Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with EMEA GTM leadership and account teams to design and drive technical GTM and adoption strategy for large-scale EDW migrations to the Databricks Intelligence Platform.
  • •Architect and continuously refine scalable migration processes, including detailed technical guides for field teams and partners.
  • •Maintain and enhance automated assessment tooling based on customer engagements.
  • •Serve as the tier-3 technical escalation point for highly complex, strategic, or stalled migrations in must-win accounts across EMEA.
  • •Mentor and coach the EMEA community of Solutions Architects and Specialist SAs to scale presales migration practice, and bridge field insights to Product and R&D.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of customer-facing pre-sales, architect, or consulting experience influencing technical executives and driving data modernization strategy.
  • •Strong understanding of legacy data warehouse and modernization architectures, including Teradata, Netezza, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, or Exadata.
  • •Proficiency in EDW migration scope and progression from EDW to full Databricks Data Intelligence Platform capabilities.
  • •Hands-on lakehouse experience with Apache Spark, Python, and SQL.
  • •Experience designing big data architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
