Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Field Verification platform and set direction for a domain without dedicated engineering leadership.
  • •Move the platform from keep-the-lights-on to deliberate, prioritized development.
  • •Lead and grow the existing cross-functional team and build the organization as scope expands.
  • •Build the operational efficiency layer (trip and route optimization, task allocation, and capacity management) for field officers.
  • •Own the client-facing surface (APIs/webhooks and back office), deliver a native mobile experience, and ensure verification data is structured, auditable, and compliance-ready.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of overall software engineering experience with substantial hands-on production engineering and strong backend depth, including Java and Spring Boot.
  • •5+ years of engineering leadership, including managing Engineering Managers.
  • •Credibility across backend, web, and mobile engineering for a platform spanning multiple layers.
  • •Experience building platforms used by multiple distinct user groups and internal business units, with flexibility for unforeseen requirements.
  • •A plus: experience with location/geospatial data, route/trip optimization, compliance-focused data structuring, and/or identity/KYC/verification platforms.
