Job Summary

Perform onsite mechanical repair and inspection work at the Santa Fe Springs facility, carrying out operation checkouts, modifications, and corrective repairs based on technical data. Set up repair and test facilities, test and calibrate components to tolerances, assemble parts at floor stations, and use hand and power tools to restore units that fail test. Work Monday–Friday with encouraged overtime and support quality-focused repair turnaround.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform onsite operation checkouts, inspections, and repair corrections of incoming assemblies and components according to procedures and technical data.
•Set up repair and test facilities; test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
•Repair units that fail test or tolerance levels and ensure short cycle-time repairs and returns using quality processes.
•Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations using hand and power tools.
•Complete work required for modifications and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
•Basic computer skills for documenting repairs and following work instructions.
•Basic experience operating hand tools and electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and test equipment.
•Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gage, and hydraulic gages.
•Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and overhaul manuals for assembly purposes.
