Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design management for mid-scale and complex projects, managing resources, timelines, and budgets from concept to completion.
  • •Ensure projects comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including “Safety by Design” and UK CDM regulations.
  • •Manage client relationships and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions; run client and project meetings with progress and financial reporting.
  • •Coordinate delivery and improve project processes (e.g., change control), resolving critical design issues through target-led workshops.
  • •Handle design communications such as RFIs, early warnings, design transmittals, and manage changes/delays; update design delivery programmes and review quotations against scope, budget, and requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •MEng/BEng/BSc or HND/HNC in an Engineering, Environmental, or numerate science related subject.
  • •Member of an appropriate professional institute (Chartered or working towards).
  • •Experience delivering infrastructure programme and project delivery work, including complex projects.
  • •Significant experience in project and contract management, with knowledge of health & safety standards and regulations.
