Job Summary

Lead and support client-side delivery of capital water projects across the full lifecycle, from option studies and tender support to NEC contract administration and site commissioning. Work with Senior Project Managers/Associates to manage schedule, quality, risk, H&S, and stakeholder coordination, while contributing to procurement strategies, progress reporting, and dispute resolution. Operate from regional offices supporting the North, Midlands, and Scotland FRAM lots.

Key Responsibilities

•Support or lead teams to manage and deliver capital investment water projects, ensuring successful outcomes for quality, cost, and time.
•Provide client-side project management support across option studies, option development, construction tender support, and on-site delivery and commissioning.
•Assist with procurement strategies and tender documentation, contribute to PEP and progress reporting, and participate in meetings including minuting.
•Manage stakeholder engagement and oversee H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract administration on NEC4 contracts through a contract management system.
•Develop relationships with clients and cross-functional teams, support business development opportunities, and provide mentoring to Graduates and Apprentices.

Key Requirements

•2 to 4 years of proven infrastructure project management experience in a consulting environment, covering full PM services including PEP, progress reports, tender documentation, and post-contract administration.
•Water industry experience is essential, with the ability to manage projects through the delivery lifecycle and ensure delivery within scope, quality, cost, and time.
•Knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, particularly PSC and ECC, ideally working towards NEC ECC Accreditation.
•A relevant degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction, or a related subject, plus a project management qualification such as APM PMQ or PRINCE2 (desirable).
•Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills, including working effectively in integrated multi-organisation teams; may require completion of security screening checks.
