Job Summary

Oversee daily paving operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards. Lead and enforce safety compliance with MSHA/OSHA/DOT requirements, manage daily safety assignments and inspections, and interpret plans/specifications to assign work. Study schedules and labor needs, maintain time and production records, inspect work in progress, coordinate phases with other supervisors and subcontractors, and direct traffic control while completing required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee daily paving activities to complete projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
•Adhere to and enforce safety rules and regulations for MSHA/OSHA/DOT; conduct daily safety assignments and area inspections.
•Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements; maintain time and production records.
•Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders; establish or adjust work procedures and assign duties to workers.
•Supervise planning and execution with superintendent/plant personnel and subcontractors; inspect work in progress, review materials/costs, adjust schedules, direct traffic control, and complete required paperwork.

Key Requirements
