Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and support investigation of image quality issues from current sites to determine probable causes.
  • •Participate in site visits to represent R&D and develop image quality (IQ) requirements based on standards and market needs.
  • •Coach, review, and design algorithms; create specifications and drive improvements for image reconstruction, image assessment, artifact suppression, data calibration, post processing, detector technology, and phantom design.
  • •Coach and design verification, manufacturing testing, and customer testing tied to image quality, system performance, and radiation dose; generate evidence for reviews and reporting.
  • •Lead image-quality technology roadmap definition, publish/present papers, submit patents, and develop simulations for POC and advanced development; mentor research scientists and optimize processes.

Key Requirements

  • •MSc in Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s plus 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • •5+ years of experience in product research and development beyond the education qualification.
  • •Proficiency in MATLAB, including GUI development and C-MEX.
  • •Experience with software development in C/C++/C#.
  • •Knowledge of medical image reconstruction relevant to the role (e.g., PET, SPECT, CT).
