Job Summary

Ensure engineering models, drawings, and product definition packages accurately communicate design intent and comply with Product Definition standards before release to manufacturing. Create and maintain parametric 3D models, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation using Siemens NX, and apply ASME Y14.5 GD&T to support manufacturability. Prepare engineering release packages with Teamcenter, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues, and mentor junior professionals while traveling domestically.

Key Responsibilities

•Review and validate 3D models, engineering drawings, and product definition packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering standards.
•Create and maintain parametric 3D models, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation using Siemens NX.
•Apply and interpret ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure manufacturability and design intent.
•Prepare engineering release packages, change documentation, and configuration updates using Teamcenter.
•Mentor junior product definition professionals and promote best practices in quality, standard work, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree with 3 years, or an Associate degree in Drafting/Design (or related) with 7 years of relevant experience.
•Experience in Product Definition, mechanical drafting, or engineering documentation, including working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
•Experience creating or reviewing mechanical drawings and assembly documentation.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
•Active and existing U.S. security clearance required after day 1.
