Key Responsibilities

•Perform functional verification of CPU logic to ensure designs meet specification requirements.
•Develop IP verification plans, test benches, and the verification environment to ensure coverage against CPU microarchitecture specifications.
•Execute verification plans and define/run system simulation models to verify design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs.
•Replicate, root-cause, and debug issues in the presilicon environment; implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
•Collaborate with CPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams, document test plans, and maintain/improve functional verification infrastructure and methodology.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 1+ years of experience, or a Master's degree and some knowledge of pre-silicon verification/front end.
•Knowledge of software/programming languages including C, C++, C#, Visual Basic/.NET, Perl, Python, or Java.
•Experience with System Verilog/Verilog/VHDL and verification/validation and/or VCS or similar simulators.
•Minimum of 6 months experience with computer architecture and microarchitecture.
•Experience with coverage-driven validation and/or IP/SOC ASIC validation (plus Specman E and/or System Verilog/OVM/UVM where applicable).
