Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates to regularly achieve production targets in the Inspection Center.
  • •Manage safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths/weaknesses, and implement improvement steps.
  • •Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management, and proactively communicate expectations, goals, and performance measures.
  • •Review and approve identified mechanical and physical defects; partner with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years, and ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in varied shop conditions.
