Key Responsibilities

•Lead detailed contract reviews by analyzing complex, multi-element arrangements and preparing ASC 606 checklists for point-in-time and over-time revenue recognition.
•Establish fair value inputs by supporting standalone selling price (SSP) and fair value determinations for product and service offerings.
•Partner cross-functionally with teams across Finance, Program Management, Contract Management, Legal, Order Management, and Proposals to streamline contract accounting.
•Research complex ASC 606 revenue scenarios, providing expert guidance on deal structuring and authoring technical accounting memos.
•Support audits and month-end close by preparing/reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, and assisting with internal controls testing for SOX and IPO readiness.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•3+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting with working application of ASC 606.
•Deep knowledge of government contracting contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, and cost reimbursable).
•Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Slack; ERP experience (e.g., Oracle or SAP) and Project Accounting; Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce are strongly preferred.
