Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead detailed contract reviews by analyzing complex, multi-element arrangements and preparing ASC 606 checklists for point-in-time and over-time revenue recognition.
  • •Establish fair value inputs by supporting standalone selling price (SSP) and fair value determinations for product and service offerings.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with teams across Finance, Program Management, Contract Management, Legal, Order Management, and Proposals to streamline contract accounting.
  • •Research complex ASC 606 revenue scenarios, providing expert guidance on deal structuring and authoring technical accounting memos.
  • •Support audits and month-end close by preparing/reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, and assisting with internal controls testing for SOX and IPO readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting with working application of ASC 606.
  • •Deep knowledge of government contracting contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, and cost reimbursable).
  • •Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Slack; ERP experience (e.g., Oracle or SAP) and Project Accounting; Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce are strongly preferred.
