Perform measurement, calibration, maintenance, and inspection of natural gas instrumentation and control systems, including EFMs, correctors, pressure regulation, and odorizing equipment. Respond to natural gas and other emergencies, maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance, and coordinate measurement tests with third parties to ensure integrity and contractual accuracy. Monitor natural gas quality, investigate balancing systems, and continuously improve results while following safety and regulatory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate, maintain, test, and calibrate measurement, regulating, and instrumentation/control facilities and systems.
•Assure responsiveness to natural gas and other emergencies.
•Execute scheduled equipment inspections, tests, calibrations, maintenance, and replacements per company and regulatory requirements.
•Inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain natural gas quality analysis equipment such as samplers and chromatographs.
•Coordinate measurement tests with third-party companies, monitor quality for contract compliance, and initiate enforcement actions when needed.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, plus three years of natural gas measurement, construction and maintenance and/or service field experience (or equivalent).
•Perform scheduled inspections, tests, calibrations, maintenance, and replacements on measurement and regulating/instrumentation equipment.
•Ability to communicate with internal/external customers to provide explanations and information.
•Ability to perform complex calculations related to measurement principles and concepts.
•Requires a valid driver’s license and advanced computer knowledge to create documents, reports, and/or graphics.
