Key Responsibilities

•Implement and maintain an end-to-end application and infrastructure monitoring framework.
•Support and enhance existing monitoring infrastructure (Nagios, Cacti).
•Build log mining tools and develop tooling integrations (monitoring, ticketing, dashboard).
•Develop components of enterprise monitoring and cross-platform monitoring architecture (virtualized compute/storage) with rules, alerts, and notifications.
•Collaborate with engineering teams on monitoring requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
•3+ years of experience in enterprise environment with several Unix platforms (RHEL, AIX, Solaris) and Windows.
•3+ years of experience with monitoring solutions (Nagios, Zenoss, Cacti).
•3+ years experience developing tools and scripts in Shell scripts, Python, or Perl.
•Strong understanding of monitoring interfaces SNMP, SSH; strong TCP/IP and SNMP skills.
