Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical accounting assessments and prepare accounting memos under US GAAP (and IFRS where relevant).
  • •Advise on revenue recognition, COGS, commissions, equity/stock-based compensation, investments, leases, and intercompany transactions.
  • •Translate accounting conclusions into close procedures, reconciliations, reporting, systems configuration, and control activities.
  • •Partner with auditors and consultants to resolve technical accounting questions and design risk/control documentation and testing procedures (RACMs).
  • •Lead India IFC readiness, strengthen business-process and system controls, and define a roadmap to build an in-house internal audit and controls function.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • •Typically 8–12+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting, controllership, financial reporting, internal controls, or audit.
  • •Strong working knowledge of US GAAP; practical exposure to IFRS and multi-entity accounting preferred.
  • •Experience supporting SOX readiness, IFC, ICFR, or controls-based audits.
  • •Ability to implement and sustain controls across a multi-entity, multi-system environment with strong technical judgment and communication skills.
