Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trailers in a shop environment
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair various trailer systems including aluminum/chem-lite, trailer brakes, air lines, pumps, engines, liftgates, and chassis components; document findings and parts used on repair orders
•Maintain safety and cleanliness in the shop; assist in end-of-day cleanup and tool organization
•Collaborate with Shop Trailer Technician I/II and Shop Manager to obtain approvals, discuss RO findings, and secure purchase orders
•Document work per company standards and upload RO photos and notes using company devices and Karmak application

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of related field experience (or equivalent combination of degree/certification and experience)
•Own set of hand tools required to perform job duties
•DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance experience and ability to complete pre-employment DOT and medical requirements
•Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
•ASE certifications or OEM training are preferred
