Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot electrical problems of varying complexity and voltages, making repairs and requesting assistance on more complex issues.
  • •Use test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, strobe lights, high voltage testers) to diagnose problems.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance duties as directed.
  • •Assist contractors with new or remodeled electrical installations and identify/order spare parts as required.
  • •Check fire alarm and facility-related batteries and may take meter readings for kilowatt hours.
