Key Responsibilities

•Define and own the Pro Marketing strategy across the full professional lifecycle — acquisition, activation, and long-term engagement to drive supply growth.
•Serve as the voice of the professional inside Thumbtack to inform product and commercial decisions based on ROI-focused needs and expectations.
•Build and manage B2B marketing programs (acquisition, onboarding, education, community, events, sales enablement, marketing collateral).
•Lead Partner Marketing to develop external partnerships, platform integrations, distribution relationships, and co-marketing programs that extend Thumbtack’s reach.
•Develop measurement frameworks tied to professional supply outcomes and communicate results to senior leadership while building and mentoring a high-performing team.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience leading full-funnel marketing for a supply-side audience, business customers, or professionals in a marketplace or platform context
•Track record of building activation and retention programs that move the needle on business outcomes, not just acquisition
•B2B marketing experience, including ABM, sales enablement, and events, with ability to translate complex platform economics into clear value propositions
•Experience building or managing external partnerships—integrations, distribution relationships, channel programs, or co-marketing
•Strong cross-functional instincts and ability to influence senior leaders and build a function from scratch
