Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day commercial leadership and client interface to ensure project objectives are met through cost management services.
  • •Develop and update cost plans and estimates through design milestones, including estimating and negotiating change orders.
  • •Reconcile and validate cost information, manage cost checks/valuations, and support post-contract cost variances and change control.
  • •Coordinate cost information sources (e.g., NPA, subs, quantities) and drive engineering priorities based on cost impact.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports, manage contingency and commitment tracking, and support final account negotiation and written submissions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant construction industry experience in a cost management role.
  • •Experience supporting transportation, transit, infrastructure, public sector, civil, facility, or other large-scale construction projects.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards accreditation is preferred.
  • •Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, value management, value engineering, cost control, and contract administration, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
