Key Responsibilities

•Build agents that investigate incidents and surface anomalies, using ClickStack as their substrate.
•Write skills and develop a library of reusable workflows for debugging, root-cause analysis, and incident response.
•Own the agent stack end-to-end including context engineering, tool design, evals, tracing, and cost.
•Make ClickStack a great place to run AI workloads by building MCP servers, SDKs, and integrations.
•Work in the open by collaborating with OSS contributors and customers to learn and feed insights back into the product.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1–2 years on LLM-powered systems or agents in production.
•Strong backend skills in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python; comfortable in both.
•Hands-on experience building agents with multi-step tool use, planning, memory, and error recovery.
•Experience designing skills (Markdown-based workflow encodings) and understanding when a skill or tool is appropriate.
•Experience with MCP: building servers, designing tools, and observability for agentic systems.
