Key Responsibilities

•Work independently with limited supervision to complete small and large projects, and represent the discipline in client meetings when needed.
•Develop calculations, construction drawings, design reports, and specifications to support mechanical, fire protection, and plumbing systems in accordance with building codes.
•Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings, and prepare technical specification sections.
•Provide technical support, serve as a technical advisor for the team, and mentor junior engineers.
•Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and provide input to engineering budget and schedule planning.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
•Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, NFPA, and ICC codes.
•Experience with analysis and layout of Plumbing and/or HVAC systems, including hydronic piping, medical gas, and air distribution.
•Proficiency with relevant engineering software such as REVIT, CAD, load calculation software, and Excel.
•Construction phase experience, including submittal reviews, on-site inspections, RFIs, and change orders.
