Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight of contractor compliance with contract requirements and standards using the USACE 3-Phase inspection program, including inspection levels, testing procedures, and deficiency correction documentation.
  • •Complete and maintain comprehensive field records, including daily reports with measurements, computations, and observations.
  • •Participate in technical review of submittals and develop plans to ensure conformity to USACE standards and specifications.
  • •Document construction observations, issue discrepancy notices for non-compliant items, and develop punch lists; provide construction photographs documenting progress and issues.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety regulations, USACE requirements, and building codes, including attending progress and weekly contractor meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •HS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •US Citizen.
  • •10+ years of experience as a construction project inspector on large, complex, multimillion-dollar DoD construction projects.
  • •Knowledge of the USACE Three Phase Inspection Process.
  • •Knowledge of EM 385-1 Safety Requirements, plus CQM Certification (preferred).
