Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, write, and maintain high-quality documentation for developer audiences, including guides, how-tos, conceptual explanations, and release notes.
  • •Operate in a docs-as-code workflow: author in Markdown, submit and review PRs, and validate docs through the same CI pipeline as code.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and PMs to accurately document new features using specs, early builds, and code review feedback.
  • •Verify and maintain code samples so they compile, run, and stay current with product changes.
  • •Audit and improve existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, structure, and voice, and help evolve style guides and content standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record creating technical content for developer audiences (share portfolio/examples).
  • •Fluency in a docs-as-code workflow using Markdown (or similar), Git (branching, PRs, rebasing), and contributing inside a repo.
  • •Strong software development or DevOps background with proficiency in at least some programming languages.
  • •Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, Copilot) while validating AI-generated content for accuracy.
  • •Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ship documentation alongside features.
