Job Summary

Plan and coordinate procurement-related activities that support product manufacturing and distribution, including monitoring transportation, delivery flow, and supplier work-in-process. Track and manage supplier promise dates, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery, and perform escalated expediting when needed. Execute process improvements tied to delivery assurance systems, collaborate cross-departmentally to meet customer requirements, and ensure site EH&S compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and organize procurement activities related to product manufacturing and distribution, including acquisition of materials and services.
•Monitor product transportation and delivery, including tracking and shipping.
•Track and manage supplier work in process (WIP) and promise dates; expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.
•May oversee a command center and drive part shortage resolution, including escalated expediting when required.
•Adhere to EH&S practices and standards across the site, including proactive hazard reporting and recommendations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
•3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
•Experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations.
•Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing best practices.
•Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP ERP.
