Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently oversee multiple construction sites to ensure all activities comply with contractual requirements.
  • •Conduct comprehensive inspection services, emphasizing safety protocols and quality assurance, with a primary focus on concrete operations.
  • •Attend and participate in daily project meetings, including start-of-shift toolbox talks and end-of-shift reviews, to maintain effective communication and coordination, ensuring contractor field staff adhere to all health and safety standards.
  • •Prepare detailed daily reports documenting work performed, project progress, and any issues encountered, and accurately enter data and reports into the web-based construction management software application.
  • •Mentor MTA Small Business Contractors to ensure their performance and submissions meet all project completion requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent
  • •Nine (9) years of progressive construction inspection experience with concrete (mixing, placement, finishing)
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • •Experience managing or monitoring at least two construction projects each worth at least $1 million
  • •Extensive experience working on infrastructure projects
