Job Summary

Manage all aspects of a tribal clients portfolio within Native American Financial Services, including underwriting credit products for complex tribal governments and enterprises. Lead financial analysis, credit metrics, leveraged cash flow due diligence, underwriting document preparation, and ongoing credit monitoring with risk rating and covenant compliance. Serve as a key relationship and deal-team resource, coordinating loan documentation, approval/hold recommendations, and syndicated deal participation while ensuring regulatory compliance (KYC/MCA/Patriot Act/OFAC/beneficial ownership).

Key Responsibilities

•Gather and analyze financial data, spread financial statements, calculate credit metrics, identify risks/mitigants, and assess creditworthiness for high-value clients.
•Model future performance (including downside scenarios) and prepare thorough credit underwriting documents for initial approvals and amendments.
•Ensure compliance with KYC and run MCA/Patriot Act/OFAC checks and certify beneficial ownership.
•Manage approval processes for lending commitments, amendments, waivers, and consents, including monitoring and recommendations to Credit Executives.
•Monitor portfolio accounts for covenant compliance and risk ratings, maintain legal documentation, and manage client relationships (including site/plant visits as appropriate).

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,000 - 181,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in finance, accounting, economics, and/or business.
•Minimum 5 years of commercial underwriting, credit, banking, and/or financial services experience.
•Strong understanding of fund accounting, GASB, and GAAP financing principles, including restricted fund compliance.
•Ability to structure and negotiate lending arrangements, including experience negotiating loan documents and coordinating loan closings.
•Experience with gaming and/or Native American Financial Services, governmental financial analysis, and/or syndicated loan experience (administrative agent/participant) is a plus.
